We realized couples need this most.

So when we made For Lovers, we weren't just making a game. We were making the thing we wanted for our own relationships.

This changed our connection For my boyfriend and I’s one year anniversary we went to Tennessee. We stayed at a cabin in the woods and we brought along the game to play. That night, we got in the hot tub together and played a couple rounds of the game. We would answer one question in like 20 min because we realized there was still so much we didn’t know about each other. I picked up a card and it read, “when was the moment you knew you were in love with me?” And I remember giggling inside because I would’ve never thought to ask this question, let alone answer it. He said “the moment you told me you love my scars, internal and external”. We both teared up and hugged. Our connection changed in that moment. It grew deeper. All because of this game. It was a beautiful way to end our anniversary and we still play it from time to time. I will definitely bring it with us to our second anniversary in a few months. If you’re hesitating getting this, I hope this somehow changed your mind.
This game drops the masks so the souls can meet. I approached her in the gym. I'd never seen her before. She was so beautiful, even though she wasn't my type. I kept glancing in her direction wondering if I should talk to her. She was two feet away from me working out at the machine next to me. So I approached her saying I've never seen her before. I asked about what she does, her gym goals, and eventually asked if I could finish my workout with her. While working out I kept talking to her. We conversed over various topics, and I could tell she was nervous but liked it. Sometimes I'd let the silence linger, just so she could sit in it with me. Eventually I asked for her Instagram before leaving. The next day I planned a dinner date at a nice restaurant. For the next month we got to know each other, breaking past the little barriers of trust, and eventually of love. Two wounded hards colliding into a healing love. Eventually I found out I was leaving. I was moving 400 miles away to a new town. We weren't together at this point, only known each other for about a month. I accidentally said I loved her in the gym after 2 weeks of knowing her. It just came out naturally, but she said it back with a smile. A few nights before moving I brought this game with me to dinner. It was a fancy restaurant in a booth 3 stories high with a view of the sunset right in front of our face. I pulled out this game, nervous because I knew it was four couples.. We weren't a couple. This would be the day I either ask her or I don't. I pulled a question from the box that said "what was your biggest concern before getting together?" Welp.. I guess now we have to have the talk. After an hour of open heart communication I asked her to be mine. We were done with dinner, I got up to start leaving when I saw the wildcard at the bottom of the deck. I dropped it in her lap as I stood up, picking up my things. She turned the card over, smiled, and excitedly said "I love you." This game lets us drop all of our masks so our souls can meet, with just two cards. I'm about to play the game officially, in full, on our one month anniversary. Buy it.
Got this for my wife and I. We've been married 23 years. Some of the questions dug into things we have never shared before. Granted, some of them we did know and breezed thru. However, in both circumstances, we really enjoyed having real conversation together and solidifying our relationship. Even if your marriage is fine and you think you know everything about each other, I guarantee you don't remember it all. I hate calling this a game because it isn't. You both win. Every time.

I bought these cards for my wedding anniversary and we enjoyed them. We both learned some things about each other and at some points had us doubled over with laughter. The 3 levels are perfect for starting off light before getting into the heavy stuff.

I usually do not give reviews but here I am. I bought the Original for an ice breaker and also was brave enough to buy the lover edition even though the cards were intended only for someone that I was interested not yet on the “lover” lever yet. These cards definitely do break the ice and as the name says. “How Deep Will You Go?” The minute I broke out the original series she was ecstatic because it got to the roots of many things that some refuse to go. Although, we already knew many of the answers already it just expanded on what we already knew. What really made this interesting that she shuffled all 3 stages into one pile so anything goes. As I mentioned, we are not in a relationship but I think these cards have pushed us into that situation. Because the originals were “tame” in nature, her eyes lit up when I broke out the Lovers version. What was supposed to be 2 hours ended up over 4 hours together. The Lovers version is not sexual in any way but we both exposed our vulnerability to each other and discovered each others feelings toward one another. These cards helped pave the way. I highly recommended these cards to anyone who is remotely interested in someone or have been in a relationship for long term. It breaks the mundane routine questions. This review will also be for the Lover's Edition.

Love the different categories. It really challenges your relationship on a whole different level and makes you see one another in a different lighting. I believe if you don’t get upset from the person’s truth, understanding where they are coming from, and both making the change where it’s necessary will strengthen your bonds. Playing this game is a real eye opener for sure!
